Paula is the proud owner of Ava Rose Hamilton, home of Say Yes To The Dress Lancashire!

She has been in the Bridal industry since she was 18 years old. With over 35 years experience Paula leads a dedicated and passionate team working alongside her daughters and close friends with her son Conor also running The Bridgewater Menswear department situated within the Colne boutique.

Ava has been around bridal ever since being a little girl. After watching her mum build up the family business she always knew she loved bridal. She also gets to work with her mum and sister everyday day! Even her brother has the menswear department.

Ava finds her job so rewarding to be part of a bride’s journey from that special moment of finding the perfect gown and then throughout all the fittings to ensure the gown fits perfect, right up until helping them out to the car with the dress the day before the wedding! She believes it's so lovely to share the wonderful journey and memories with all our lovely brides. Her passion for the industry is seen throughout the series of Say Yes To The Dress Lancashire.

Niamh loves working alongside her sister Ava and mum Paula, which is so special because Ava and herself have grown up around bridal.

Working in the Colne Boutique, Niamh loves being part of the Say Yes To The Dress Lancashire team and endeavours to make sure every Bride has that once in a lifetime experience throughout their Bridal journey.

Bernie has worked for Ava Rose Hamilton for over 15 years. She enjoys working alongside her sister Becki and also one of the faces on Say Yes To The Dress Lancashire

She adores the excitement and satisfaction that culminates in the creation of a bride’s perfect look. She appreciates the fabulous structure of the Essense of Australia corsets and how they enhance beautiful curves and feminine silhouettes. A true romantic at heart, she loves flowers, soft flowing fabrics and sentimental touches. Bernie likes to bring a sense of fun and excitement to her appointments.

JJ has come from a design background and was so happy to be given the opportunity to work at Ava Rose Hamilton. From a young age he has always wanted to work in occasion wear and design. He graduated with qualifications in Textiles and photography and also won the textiles Faculty award for his dedication and skills within the subject. Winning the award made his passion for the industry even stronger.

JJ loves being able to work with the beautiful gowns and helping make brides happy. He takes so much pride in the hand finishing of the gowns ensuring each bride’s gown is ready for collection and their magical day.

Becki couldn't wait to join her sister Bernie and the Ava Rose Hamilton team after completing her diploma in Fine Art and Photography. She always draws on this when considering the artistic elements of a bride’s attire, hand picking the perfect dress and accessories. With a passion for cutting edge fashion she loves the sleek, sophisticated, clean cut lines of the Enzoani collection.

Michelle works in the Colne boutique. She was one of the main faces of Say Yes To The Dress Lancashire and came to life whilst filming. There are so many aspects she loves about the bridal industry, seeing the brides journey from selecting their dream gown to helping them complete their look with the perfect accessory. She loves the long lasting relationships we create with our brides and takes passion in looking after them throughout their journey with Ava Rose Hamilton.

Grace has always aspired to be a bridal stylist and is thrilled to be part of the team here at Ava Rose Hamilton. She has always had a keen eye for fashion and styling and is excited to help brides find their dream gown. She is drawn to classic and elegant gowns with a couture feel and added drama.

Anna has always been interested in bridal, having watched Say Yes To Dress with her mum since a young age, and with a background in fashion was thrilled to work alongside the Ava Rose Hamilton stylists.

She also writes teen/young adult fantasy fiction and therefore has a special place in her heart for whimsical gowns  and designers such as All Who Wander and Madi Lane.

Gemma has always aspired to work within the Bridal Industry ever since she Graduated with her BA(Hons) Degree in Fashion Design, and when the opportunity arose to become a part of the Ava Rose Hamilton Team, she jumped at the chance.

Gemma has a keen eye for detail whether it be the cut, shape, style or detail of the gowns and accessories, Gemma believes every bride can feel amazing and loves to see their dream come true.

Ria has grown up close to Ava Rose Hamilton's beautiful boutique in Colne and was so excited to start her new career here. She has always had her eye for styling and fashion and is passionate about having the opportunity to help brides find their perfect gown for their special day.

Hope has always had an interest in Fashion and was over the moon to join the Ava Rose Hamilton Team. She loves been able to be part of the journey in Brides finding their dream gown and them feeling the best the can, as well as the excitement which is carried throughout the whole appointment.

Poppy is our trainee stylist and always had a love for bridal she dreamed to work with Ava Rose Hamilton after growing up in Colne, she always admired the family and the beautiful boutiques. She can’t wait to see her own brides and help them on their special journey
